Winter TBR | Blogmas Day 19

Wintertime is the perfect time to decrease that never-ending to be read pile. Here is what I plan to read during Winter break.

The Fandom by Anna Day

Having started this novel a few months back I had been looking for the right time to truly let myself get immersed in the story and this season I vow to finish it. The unique concept of this book will undoubtedly attract any reader. Just imagine going to comic con to see your favorite cast of a movie and instead get transported to it's fantasy world…we all low-key wish this would happen don't we?

Resistance by CJ Daugherty

I adore CJ Daugherty's books but the procrastination that I have had with this series has thus far lasted years. My reasoning is beyond silly, I just don't want the story to end so I am taking my sweet time indeed. Resistance is Book 4 in the Night School series, and follows Ally who is sent to a prestigious boarding school, only to find out it has a hidden secret society, full of dangerous people with ulterior motives.

How to Hang a Witch by Adriana Mather

Walker Publishing's latest release has me written all over it. Mean Girls meets history class. Sign. Me. Up. It’s a modern day witch hunt after a centuries old curse is rekindles and the main protagonist is at the center of it, what could go wrong?

The Cruel Prince by Holly Black

This novel was at the top of my 2018 relases list and yet despite having an early copy I never got round to reading it.  Now is the time. This is a new series set in a faerie court, and follows Jude who has always wanted to be a part of it, despite her mortality.  To get a place at the court she must defy the wicked son of the High King, Prince Cardan, just as the court is being threatened with civil war. Doesn’t this sound like the best fantasy ever?
